    DHS Expands Electronic Record Project

    California Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC) Director Cindy Ehnes joined leaders from DHS at the QueensCare Family Clinics Hollywood site last month to announce $1.3 million in funding to expand an electronic data system developed by DHS over the past six years to the Public/Private Partner (PPP) clinics.

    EHR makes the day easier!

    In the evening of January 7, 2009 a fire occurred in the building housing the Bo Hoon Lee Wilshire Clinic, located at 3242 West 8th Street in Los Angeles. Thankfully no one was hurt. Due to an amazing staff and a fully functioning Electronic Health Record, we were able to salvage our provider tablets and PC's and spread our providers amongst the remaining six clinic locations in record speed.

    QueensCare Family Clinics Officially Changes Name

    I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing today to inform you of our new name! Although many members of the community know us as QueensCare Family Clinics, until just recently our legal name was actually Franciscan Clinics dba QueensCare Family Clinics. As you can imagine, this created some confusion for our patients, specifically when searching for us in various directories.
